Overview

Marathon Asset Management is a global credit manager with approximately $23 billion in assets under management. Our platform is well-established with a 20 year track record of strong returns through investments in the global credit and real estate related markets. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and extremely organized team member to help with expansion into additional offices/jurisdictions both domestically and internationally along with assisting the accounting team in NY. The individual will assist with all financial accounting and reporting aspects of these offices including:

Responsibilities

• Maintaining books and records for each office
• Preparing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis including managing the Audit
• Preparing the transfer pricing analysis for applicable entities
• Processing vendors payments and reviewing T&E
• Making regulatory filings in an accurate and timely fashion
• Assisting the management team with budgeting for these offices
• Assisting the accounting team with firm wide expense payments, allocations, and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in an Accounting role within Financial Services, specifically with Management Company experience. 
• Experience in European/Asian jurisdictions is a plus
• Proficient in Excel and Great Plains experience is helpful
