Maple Star of Oregon is Hiring a Family Care Specialist Near Umatilla, OR
- Work with a small caseload of families involved with ODHS and provide high-quality services.
- Provide skill building, parent coaching, connect families to community resources, and remediate safety threats/concerns
- Meet with ODHS to provide updates on services and report progress
- Travel to client's homes to provide services
- Maintain a flexible schedule to meet with families at the times they need assistance, including evenings and weekends
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Communicate effectively with families, team members and ODHS
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- High school diploma or GED, with a preference for at least one year of social work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and able to manage time efficiently
- Reliable transportation and internet access
- Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to operate and have access to a safe and reliable vehicle and be willing and able to drive in various road/weather conditions
- Possess a valid driver license with a reasonably clean driving record
- Have or be able to obtain the necessary auto insurance by start of employment
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, across uneven terrain, and short to medium distances
- Ability to sit and type for extended period of time
- Ability to pass fingerprint and background checks.
- Reside in county (or one of the counties) to be served.
