Maple Leaf Foods is Hiring a Communications Coordinator Near Canada, KY

 The Opportunity:

Responsible for supporting Field sales representatives and coordinating sales-related activities within Western Canada. The Field Sales Coordinator is expected to be the “single point of Contact” for all Field Sales Representatives within Western Canada.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Field Sales single point of contact for all Quebec Canada customers’ communication to all Sales Representatives.
  • Ability to communicate to the Sales Representatives on an everyday basis
  • Weekly uploads to iPads; including Priority Plan Reports, Postings, Marketing launches, etc.; and communicate to all Reps.
  • Setup distribution lists for POS materials by region, per banner. And POS auto-distribution allocation
  • Assist Regional Field Sales Director/CBT/Reps & National Communication Manger with preparation of presentations and spreadsheets
    (Includes: PPFD Inventory Report, Monthly DA updates, Sobeys Support & other Admin reports )
  • Point of contact for any Field Sales requests; such as reports, POS materials, sell sheets, presentations, etc.
  • Territory Coverage Report: update reps store details and target changes
  • Onboarding for new Reps
  • Conduct and communicate monthly Competitive Intelligence National Recaps
  • Manage Monthly Price Audit Rep Responsibilities, Template and Finalized Report
  • Invoice Prep/Processing and PO Setup
  • Assist & Coordinate Meetings: Hotel Venue, Requirements (Food & Beverage/Meeting & Guest Rooms/Audio Visual/Team Events) for two regional meetings per year.
  • Display pictures (saving pictures from Reps), Yammer threads/hashtags REWORDED
  • Order supplies for the regional office and reps (This would include Big Stick Calendars & Business Cards as well, if/when applicable.)
  • Pay Per Performance – Weekly Report Updates and sending Fund Requests to Reps
  • Mail & Courier – Accept, Process, Sort and Ship out Documents/Packages for Reps & Head Office.
  • (Includes: Atlantic Contest Payouts based on results & targets, Credit Vouchers, Supplies, Document Prints & other Admin support)

What You’ll Bring:

  • Flawless communication through e-mails; phone, iPads and in person
  • Experience as a Sales Administrator / Coordinator, preferably in a CPG related industry.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred
  • Motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tact, diplomatic, and courteous
  • Outgoing, creative, analytical, relationship-oriented
  • Problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including ADVANCED skills with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint is a must
  • iPad experience is also preferred
  • Ability and motivation to learn new software
