Your Role:

We're looking for Senior, Staff, or Principal-level Full-Stack Engineer to build out Mantle's Web Application for operation of Mantle's Metal 3D Printers at customer sites. This application includes a cloud-based slicer, Industrial IOT capabilities, REST APIs, AWS services, AWS Edge, AWS Govcloud, pub-sub, streaming technologies, etc. This is a chance to own the full-stack architecture AND work closely with other cross-disciplinary engineers designing the systems and software for the Metal 3D Printers.

What will you own?

• Design, build, and maintain the full-stack web application for storing, editing, and printing 3D designs, and enabling IoT
• Enable enterprise-class system integrations by creating powerful APIs and build modern reactive user interfaces
• Work with engineers across the company, including the offshore team, to build new features at a large scale
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Drive release scrums, mentoring, and provide other leadership as necessary

Experience that will help you succeed:

• 10 years of experience in full-stack engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
• Proficiency in writing Node applications and Databases design with NoSQL such as DynamoDB, InfluxDB, S3 and scaling them.
• Strong experience with cloud systems such as AWS with knowledge of Cloud data streaming and pub-sub services e.g. AWS Kinesis, Kafka, MQTT, and server-less functions such as Lambda
• Knowledge of enterprise security, performance optimization, parallelization, and distributed systems
• Experience with contemporary web development frameworks (Angular, React/ Redux, etc)
• Experience building APIs, Services and Scaling Systems
• Know your way around a UNIX shell

Highly appreciated, but NOT necessary:

• Knowledge of manufacturing domain, CNC machines, embedded and industrial IoT 
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and 3D modeling libraries
• Can design and implement tooling and automation for clustering, scaling, monitoring, and alerting
• Experience with web-based visualization frameworks (D3, Three.js, WebGL, and more)
• Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning
