Due to MSG's continued growth in our Construction Services Division, a new opening is available for Inspectors / Engineers in Columbus!
Key Responsibilities
Interact with project partners such as clients, contractors and stakeholders.
Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
Follow applicable QA/QC procedures.
Measure, calculate, and determine all quantities of assigned work and / or installed materials.
Report any deficiencies in the contractors work to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Prepare Daily Inspectors Reports using various software such as Word, AASHTOWare Project (AWP) and Appia.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum Two years of experience in Transportation Construction Inspection and Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer skills including use of e-mail, Excel AND Word
Certifications and Training:
ODOT Prequalification in ODOT Inspector/Engineer Categories
NICET Highway Technician I, II; III or IV
ACI Field Technician Level 1
Ohio Aggregate Level 1
OSHA 10 Hour or 30 Hour (Preferred)
