Job DetailsJob Location Cobalt TN - Lenoir, TN Description Summary: Sew pre-cut vinyl together to make a skin for multiple departments in the production process. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Must be able to read and interpret schedule for daily production requirements.
Must be able to read and interpret a ruler.
Inspect the pre-cut vinyl, and the pre-sewn cord to ensure there are no flaws before sewing.
Required to always sew with the correct seam allowance to ensure that the skin will meet the quality standards of Cobalt boats.
Must be very detail oriented. Perform standard housekeeping duties throughout the day.
All duties must be performed in accordance with Cobalt’s safety policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A general knowledge of operating a sewing machine; must be able to read and execute build instruction from work orders. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two- step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
