We are seeking a self-starter Assistant Controller to join our finance team

As an Assistant Controlleryou will lead a small group within our finance team. You will be responsible for financial reporting, providing support to the Controller and overseeing policies, procedures and internal controls. You will also lead and direct the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, fixed asset records and general accounting.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Track all fixed assets, depreciation and amortization schedule and book the entries

• Expense Reporting/Training for all Home Office and Field Team Members
• Conduct vendor setup, customer setup, W-9’s, vendor address changes, tax reporting requirements (1099’s)

Qualifications:

Three or more years Accounting related experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel experience

Accounts Payable/Receivable experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Experience with Hospitality Groups

Sage Intacct experience a plus

Risk Management experience a plus

Salary range: $85,000-$95,000
