The Maker’s Galley is Portland’s most unique café and marketplace located on Portland’s waterfront. We showcase and sell all Maine-made products and incorporate Maine-grown foods in our breakfast, lunch and Sunday brunch menus. We also host private events, cater offsite events and host regular cooking classes and guest chef dinners.
We are currently hiring a talented and enthusiastic chef/cook to join our team. Must be willing to do a little bit of everything, a true team player. If you like to support local, want to be inspired and enjoy having fun with a great team, The Maker’s Galley is your next home.
We want someone who likes to get creative and would be comfortable showcasing their skills in our open chefs kitchen. This role will support our Executive Chef in her admin duties, and must be comfortable leading cooking classes and preparing meals and dinners for private events/catering.
