 MainStreet Bank is looking for a dynamic and passionate Business Analyst with experience in the Banking industry to support our core banking platforms.

What You Will Do

• This can be a limited hybrid position but our Shaw Rd Operations Center in Sterling Virginia is the office location
• Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.
• Ability to analyze current processes into efficient process flows with clear next steps.
• Documenting and evaluating required data and information.
• Acting as liaison between business stakeholders and vendors, 
• Coordinate and facilitate discussion sessions between vendors, business stakeholders, project team, subject matter experts, and other contributors as necessary
• Collecting and documenting business requirements
• Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement, evaluate impact to the business, and propose strategic solutions
• Using modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through an organization to enhance project success.
• Design training for new process implementation
• Measure success of process improvements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience in Banking Operations
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business /Systems Analyst
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to focus with close attention to detail
• Excellent documentation, writing, communication, and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of and the ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data and processes 
• Ability to work cross-functionally with different team members and stakeholders.
• Great organizational skills, to work with the vast array of information gathered during analysis and organize the rapidly changing information.
• Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and teams about their needs and ask the right questions to gather essential requirements
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment and meet required schedules and timelines
