A Live-In Nanny and/or Housekeeper position is currently open with a lovely family in the Huntington Station, NY area. The parents are both physicians and will leave for work early in the morning, taking their 3 year old daughter to her daycare. The nanny will be responsible for waking and preparing their 6 year old daughter for school and packing her lunch. She rides to school on the bus. While the two children are out of the house during the day, housekeeping is expected. When the 6 year old returns with her bus in the afternoon, the candidate will be responsible for giving her a snack, helping with any homework, and playing with her. The candidate will be responsible by preparing dinner for the family. The parents will then arrive at home with their 3 year old daughter in the evening. On days when school is not in session, the nanny will be responsible for caring for both children. The work hours from 8 am - 8pm (minus one hour for lunch and breaks) 5 days per week Monday through Friday. As with all live-in positions, the candidate will have a private room and bathroom in the home and all food is provided. Experience of at least one year working with children is required. Fluent English is not required, but candidates must understand English very well and speak enough to communicate well with children. A candidate who drives and has a valid driver's license is preferred.

The salary being offered is $200/day or $1,000/week. Paid holidays and vacation time will be offered as well.
