Being a Project Architect at Mahlum is about implementing design excellence with integrated results. It’s about bringing your knowledge and expertise to the team, sharing through mentorship and collaboration. As a Project Architect, your passionate about detailing, constructability, and tracking lessons learned.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand needs and issues of the project 
  • Develop architectural plans and solutions
  • Prepare architectural drawings, documentation, and specifications
  • Provide consultant coordination through the lifecycle of a project
  • Research materials, consult manufacturers and evaluate selected material
  • Mentor, guide, and coach team members

Requirements

  • An experienced architect with at least five years of firm experience
  • Licensed, preferably in Oregon
  • Experienced with client and contractor relationships
  • Experienced with the higher education or K-12 markets
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Skilled Revit, MS Excel, Adobe CS, Deltek Vision
