Magnum Companies is Hiring a Dock Supervisor Near St. Cloud, MN

Magnum was established in 1978, to provide supply chain network solutions. The LTL Dock Supervisor oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. They also ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock at an assigned Magnum LTL location. Magnum hauls/delivers a variety of freight for our customers and partner carriers. Some examples may include paper products, household chemicals, alcohol, tobacco, and any type of food grade items.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11am-6:00pm (Outbound shift)

Pay: $21-$23 hourly (depending on experience)

What You'll be Doing for us: 

  • Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce
  • Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress
  • Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers
  • Ensure bills per hour are met daily
  • Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
  • Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the Terminal Manager
  • Use of automated and computerized systems (TMW)
  • Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax, and phone
  • Monitor and ensure all routes are out timely
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Communication of any issues with team leaders
  • Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment
  • Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job--reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Must have the ability to alternate walking, standing for extended periods of time, sitting, climbing, bending, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, and carry or lift to 100lbs occasionally above chest level. While performing the job, this position will have frequent clerical duties that include walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and will have to occasionally use the hands and fingers to lift, feel, and reach.
