Position Summary

MAG is seeking a Logistics Manager for a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will serve as the focal point for logistics matters on site for the assigned aircraft. The position is responsible for the compilation and analysis of availability data, state of repair of material, the adequacy of manpower, and training related to support the CNATRA Rotary aircraft. Specific responsibilities of planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing product support for these aircraft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Develop and sustain functional relationships with tenant commands, applicable contractors and station support entities to support mission requirements
• Ensure compliance with standard FAA polices and. processes and NAMP maintenance policies
• Monitor aircraft modifications and keep the program APML informed of progress
• Review Daily Aircraft Status Reporting (DASR) and keep the program informed of any supportability issues impacting RFT aircraft
• Determines trends, deficiencies in the provision of spare parts, repair manuals, test equipment, and other necessary support items
• Deficiencies in manpower and training; and unit capability to perform a specified mission to include new configuration Logistic Product Support
• Provides recommendations regarding resolving deficiencies and increasing levels of readiness to the PSM, APML and various Field Activities
• Monitor, coordinate program logistics plans and directives in support of program goals
• Works closely with other logistics team members, IPT members, and logistics functional Logistics Element Managers (LEM), planning offices, and other military services, including Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) and commercial repair activities as necessary
• Attend meetings on a periodic basis to ensure actions are taken for effective logistics planning and procurement of required
• Provide recommendations and technical assistance to contractors supporting the aircraft sustainment
• Attend and participate in conferences, weekly readiness cell reviews and any other meetings in support of aircraft logistics Provide formal presentations as required
• Execute/maintain the Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP) for total life cycle management of the aircraft
• Manage, and support NAVAIR, DON, and OSD directives

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

• Be familiar with CLS contract requirement Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements and contract data requirements (CDRLs) for obtaining logistics
• Ability to analyze Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures
• Knowledge of logistics management support to voice and data communication networks infrastructure, intelligence IT systems, operating systems, software, firmware
• Operational testing and validation experience
• Working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications 
• Management and organizational skills 
• Ability to perform detail-oriented work

Education and Experience

• BS/BA in logistics, engineering, computer science, information systems, math or business
• 5 - 8 years of logistics management experience 
• 8 - 10 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Prefer Rotary Wing experience

Other Requirements:

• On site, in person
• Possible travel to local military installations.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
