Program Description:

MSCR Sports Camps are week long camps that explore a variety of sports and games each day. It is a fun fast paced camp that promotes teaching the basics of sports in a positive fun environment.

Job Description & Duties:

• Assist Camp Site Director in overall supervision of the Sports Camps
• Supervise camp staff and participants
• Maintain participant records and program attendance
• Review lesson plans and provide feedback to staff
• Help manage participant behaviors
• Ensure safety for all campers and staff
• Create enthusiastic, engaging, and inclusive environment for participants
• Engage in all camp activities when available
• Communicate openly with parents
• Provide support and coaching for program leaders

• 8/12/2023
• 6/12/23-8/18/23

Work Location:

• Muir Elementary
• Elvehjem Elementary

Hours/week:

• 40 hours per week

Work hours:

• 8am-4pm

Application Deadline:

• 6/9/2023

Payrate: $17.00/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years of experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds in a youth sports or day camp setting
• Previous experience supervising staff
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must have proven dependability, teamwork, leadership skills, flexibility and enthusiasm

Preferred Qualifications:

• First Aid and CPR Certified
