We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our creative and marketing team and report directly to our Creative Director. As a small, growing team we're looking for someone who enjoys visual problem-solving across many touch-points including: Brand Design, Art direction, presentation design and creative brand expressions/campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on conceptual designer who can bring a refined, creative and contemporary sensibility and approach to each project, while being mindful of brand guidelines, and timelines. 

Job Requirements

• Strong design fundamentals such as typography, layout, grid, etc. and impeccable attention to detail, especially in typography
• Strong knowledge of digital design systems
• At least 6 years of experience in design
• Thinks about design systems in terms of scalability to different types of media, format, use-cases, and applications
• Experience designing for internal presentations
• Solid skills in creating narrative presentations for external use
• Robust visual storytelling skills
• Experience shipping projects from start to finish (Brand Design, Art Direction, Campaign, Presentation Decks)
• Ability to present ideas and work clearly and concisely
• Experience with project management; comfortable project managing the workflow of internal and external art directors/ illustrators and designers (e.g., assigning projects, approving projects, giving feedback)
• Always seeks unique, novel solutions to design problems and draws from a variety of influences
• A highly organized self-starter, modest, and great work ethic
• Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma and well versed with Google Workspace and Powerpoint
• Gives and receives feedback generously and graciously
• A portfolio that reflects your experience is required

Responsibilities

• Design and expand existing brand and style systems
• Develop executive level presentations designs for pitches and other meetings
• Work hands-on from concept development to delivery with our without partners/ vendors for digital brand, campaign and a diverse range of brand expressions

The successful candidate should be able to work a hybrid schedule out of the MadHive headquarters in NYC.
