Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks in the parts warehouse to include, shipping, receiving, inventory stocking, load/ unload trucks. This position is a member of the branch level parts team and should strive to obtain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and department performance while assuring that company processes and procedures are followed, and non-conforming conditions are corrected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ship inventory as indicated on sales orders/pick tickets
• Receive inventory per receiving and system guidelines
• Stock inventory timely and in accordance with warehouse layout
• Safely load and unload trucks as required
• Using key metrics provided by leadership, evaluate personal and operational performance.
• Participate in mid-year and annual performance evaluation reviews

• Systems

1. Functional knowledge of key operating systems: CDK, CXM, Microsoft BI
2. Entry level knowledge of critical Supplier applications
3. Entry level knowledge of phone system and ability to manage customers through it
4. Functional capability with Microsoft Office suite of applications, and other applications utilized by MacQueen operations

• Technical

1. Functional knowledge of Supplier products
2. Functional knowledge of key equipment systems and components in relation to potential repair and component requirements
3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Interpersonal

1. Ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships with Service & Parts Managers, Branch employees, support employees, and Leadership
2. Ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships with customers and effectively resolves any Shipping & Receiving related disputes
3. Effectively communicate in various environments and settings through multiple channels
