Job Summary Applying engineering techniques, assists in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products. Job Duties · Recommend manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective and to promote quality and reliability · Assess current equipment and processes and make recommendations for changes · Help to troubleshoot and repair equipment · Show results in reports · May train personnel in equipment usage and processes · Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately · Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) · Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures · Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education · Perform work under general supervision · Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff · Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter · Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience Competencies/ Skills · Ability to follow written and verbal directions · Technical expertise · Analytical thinking skills · Problem-solving skills
