THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team. This individual will own the development of content for our organic social channels and develop the overall strategy through to execution. Working closely with the brand strategy team and creative teams, they will be an integral team member in furthering our brand presence and building community around our unique brand proposition. As we look to create a more engaged and active community from our loyal and passionate customer base, while also continuing to grow our audience, this is an opportunity for someone to become a key driver of that growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead development of social strategy: working closely with our Brand and Communications Strategy team, you’ll devise holistic strategy for social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and more), determining how our social content and engagement pays off our broader brand and business goals. You’ll also evolve our strategy based on performance and emerging trends and developments in the social landscape.
Comms and calendar planning: you’ll work with the broader marketing team to build a roadmap of social initiatives, mapping social content to broader campaigns and brand initiatives. You’ll determine when our channels can be leveraged to support existing campaign content and when to devise new bespoke content. As the owner of the social calendar, you’ll proactively develop content ideas and community engagement ideas as part of the marketing mix.
Lead content creation: working from the social strategy, you’ll create new content specifically for social channels that helps to build community and engagement. You’ll work with partners in design, merchandising, and marketing in order to best convey the features and benefits of products, as well as broader community engagement content ideas.
Manage Brand Ambassadors and Partners: take our brand ambassador strategy and become the owner of the implementation - working with our ambassadors to brief content needs, manage the delivery, and build relationships.
