Position Overview: We are looking for a Field Engineer to provide outstanding technical assistance to the integration team. You will be required to assist with technical operations to give our customers an outstanding project experience.

The ideal field engineer will be technically adept in all facets of AV systems integration and can work on multiple projects simultaneously. You should be disciplined, patient and detail oriented. A top- notch field engineer candidate will have an exceptional customer-first attitude and be able to work well with little direction.

Primary Essential Job Duties:

• Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues
• Communicate with the project manager and provide site specific information daily.
• Review projects prior to implementation to ensure a successful installation.
• Conduct site reviews.
• Test and commission the final installation.
• Completed second level programming course from AMX, Crestron or Extron.
• Completed Biamp Tesira or Q-SYS Level One course
• Draft and submit reports
• Conduct customer training

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities

• Previous experience as a field engineer or similar role
• Well-versed in technical aspects of field projects
• Understanding of safety guidelines
• Attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills
• An analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Assist the support team as required
• Understanding of network switch configs for specific applications (AVoIP, Dante/AES67, etc)

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• AVIXA CTS Certification
• AVIXA CTS-I Certification or obtain within 6 months of accepting position
• Completed Dante Level 1 Certification
• OSHA 10 Certified

• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of installation experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to use computer for long periods of time
• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to bend, squat and kneel
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to climb and work on ladders for extended periods
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
