What we’re looking for

We are seeking an experienced Android engineer to join our product development team and contribute towards the end-to-end development, operation, and future evolution of our Android app. Our product currently enjoys great reviews, and the Android app has over 140,000 installs, but we have ambitious goals, and this person will be a vital part of elevating our app to the next level.

Our product team is a high-performance, high-impact team that values curiosity, collaboration, and transparency. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to help shape the future of the product. What You’ll Do

  • Build new application functionality, and clearly articulate motivations and rationale.
  • Contribute to maintaining a robust and extensible application architecture.
  • Keep pace with changing Android technology and integrate with new platform capabilities.
  • Engage with designers and product engineers to ensure expected implementation of our product experience.
  • Rigorously test own work and follow testing processes to ensure consistent quality.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working in end-to-end mobile development.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Android app development.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin & Java. Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Prior experience building and maintaining apps with extensive feature sets, rich user interfaces, and comprehensive API integrations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, attentive to detail, dependable.
  • Self-motivated and growth minded.
  • Basic knowledge of and interest in investing and personal finance.
  • Excellent collaborator and team-player.
