Responsibilities

M&J Engineering has a career opportunity for a full-time entry-level Land Survey Technician in at its Ridgefield Park, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity for a goal-oriented candidate to work in a dynamic work setting. M&J provides a competitive salary, generous benefits package including medical, dental, 401k plan.

Duties: 

• Perform duties related to a Junior Survey Crew Chief and/or Survey/CADD Technician utilizing state of the art technology, Robotic Total Stations, Global Position Survey (GPS) with RTK instrumentation.
• Assist in the daily downloading and reduction of field data
• Work with the Project Manager/Project Surveyor to accomplish required survey mapping projects
• Work throughout the Metropolitan Area
• Ability to Work outdoors

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Should be comfortable using computers and surveying equipment.
• Related experience or education preferred but not required.
• CADD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.
