M&J Engineering, P.C. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for current NYCDEP projects. Ideally the Engineer will have experience in electrical engineering services for a range of projects, including pumping stations, instrumentation and SCADA systems, site lighting, marinas, tunnels, buildings, bus kiosks, parking garages, bridge CCTV/VMS systems, police communication hubs, ventilation systems, and generators. 

Responsibilities

• Will manage and coordinate all electrical engineering services to be rendered by the Consultant
• Reviews and provides recommendations to the Design Engineer concerning Contractor’s Requests and serves as the Owner’s on-site representative to coordinate and monitor matters of quality, schedule, cost, substantial conformance to the contract document.
• Acts as a primary interface between design engineers, trades, field personnel, and the client to ensure proper project execution
• Knowledge of NYCDEP design requirements
• Acts as a technical resource on specifications, codes and standards, design requirements, construction methods, problem resolution, and constructability issues

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) for NY
• 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization
