POSITION SUMMARY: The Group Leader provides direct supervision and care for participants at K.E.E.P. Extended Day Camp. Plan and lead daily program, field trips, sports, special events, art, camp government, music, songs and games.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Takes direction from the Camp Coordinator to ensure the implementation of a safe and enjoyable camp.
• Supervises participants while protecting their physical, psychological and emotional health.
• Will attend all scheduled trainings and meetings as deemed necessary by the K.E.E.P. Office (Failure to attend training could result in loss of position).
• Be a positive role model through their work and leadership.
• Becomes knowledgeable and enforces all program policies and procedures.
• Prepare, plan and implement daily activities, themed days and inclement weather activities.
• Prepare group staff for the daily activities and provide instruction/direction to support
• Any and all duties deemed necessary by the K.E.E.P. office

HOURS:

• May 28, 2024- August 9 2024, Monday-Friday.
• Hours: 3:00pm-6:00pm

PAY RATE: Starting at $16 per hour
