Lyon Veterinary Clinic is looking for a veterinary receptionist to add to our team. We practice high-quality medicine, with a focus on preventive care, pain management, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, and multi-modal treatments. We utilize digital records and online communication platforms, so computer skills are a must. Interested individuals should have excellent communication skills and phone etiquette, professional and upbeat customer service skills, and experience working in a team environment. The ability to handle somewhat stressful and fast-paced days, take direction and improve practices, and come to work with a positive attitude is a must. Previous experience in veterinary practice (both small and equine), especially with Infinity practice management software, is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with small animal vaccination protocols, preventive medications, and general knowledge of frequently asked client questions is highly sought, but we are happy to train. Hours include some evenings and weekends. Employees receive hourly wage based on experience, paid holidays/sick days/vacation time, and access company’s Simple IRA.
