Director of International Education- Lyon College is seeking applications for a Director of International Education. The Director is responsible for the planning, oversight, and the effective delivery of services in two major areas: Study Abroad and International Student Services. The Director will also collaborate closely with Enrollment Services to help oversee and guide international student recruitment. Excellent communication skills, experience with international travel, and a proactive detail-oriented working style are required. Experience working with international students in an educational environment and with SEVIS as a DSO or PDSO is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree or higher preferred. This is a full-time position, available immediately.
Lyon College is a private, selective liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It is located in Batesville, Arkansas, a safe and historic town of 10,000 that serves as commercial, medical, social, and governmental hub for an eight-county area. The College currently enrolls almost 700 undergraduate students from 25 states and 11 foreign countries. Entering freshmen have an average high school GPA of 3.5 and an average ACT composite of 24.
