Description
Lynker is seeking a talented Geospatial Analyst to support the University of South Carolina and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management. This exceptional individual will provide GIS and mapping skills to work closely with both the stewardship sector lead and the land cover mapping lead within NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management (OCM). In particular the Geospatial Analyst will function as a member of the team involved in producing NOAA’s high resolution Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) land cover data. It is also expected that the Analyst will interact with Research and/or Stewardship Coordinators, plus GIS Reserve specialists where applicable, in order to support the mapping and applications of data within participating Reserves. This position is fully remote.
