Description
Lynker is supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in providing comprehensive river and flood forecasts and warnings, for use by the public and emergency managers to protect life and property. This critical water intelligence also supports socio-economic decision-making for a sustained and enhanced economy.
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to work on the team that provides integrated water prediction, forecasting the movement and presence of water throughout the nation in terms of quantity and availability, from summit to sea, treetop to bedrock, with the appropriate timeliness, resolution, reliability, accuracy, and quantified uncertainty required to inform risk-based water resource management decisions.
Responsibility:
The Cloud Engineer will design, implement and execute on the modernization of critical IT system infrastructure supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This includes migrating, reporting on, managing and architecting the cloud presence
