Lycoming College is seeking candidates for full-time openings in the Custodial department. Custodians perform routine and non-routine custodial maintenance as part of a team assigned to specific buildings or areas on campus. Responsibilities include the proper use of custodial materials, supplies and equipment to perform custodial and housekeeping services. Specific duties include dusting, polishing, floor cleaning, cleaning interior and exterior surfaces, trash and recyclable materials removal. Custodians may assist with set-up of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences and special events. 

These are full-time, benefit eligible positions that include health, dental, and vision insurance. Excellent retirement, tuition benefits and paid parental leave! The pay for this position begins at $12.25 per hour.

The positions available are:

• Monday-Friday 5am-1pm
• Sunday-Thursday 9p-5am

One year of industrial or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Must be energetic, a positive team player, and able to follow oral and written instructions. Physical requirements include the ability to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push/pull, reach above and below shoulder height, climb ladders and stairs, routinely lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs. unassisted, and move objects up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed.
