About the Position: Massage Manager

We are seeking a Full Time Manager for our Massage Team in our Wellness Department. The Massage manager will manage the Wellness Team including our massage therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. The Massage Manager plays an integral role in all aspects of managing our Wellness Team including managing, scheduling, supervisory support and hiring new team members. The Massage Manager or Wellness manager will be tasked with supporting and growing our sales and operations in the Wellness Department by supervising the team’s productivity and supporting program development.

What You’ll Do: Massage Manager

Under the direction of the COO and the Director of Sales and Operations, the Massage Manager or Wellness Manager will lead the Wellness Massage team to ensure best in class execution in our Wellness Department with an emphasis on member satisfaction. You will provide management support to all sales and operations in the Massage and Wellness Department including performance management and improvement, operations, and administrative support to the Wellness Team.

You will play a vital part in ensuring the Massage Therapists and Wellness Department success in all aspects of sales and operations with the team. You will be part of the management team which includes General Club Managers and will support the Wellness Department services provided to each club. Your responsibilities will include acting as the primary point person for all Wellness data, reporting, and support in the company.

As you grow in the role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to expanded programming, process improvements and efficiency recommendations in all aspects of the management of the Wellness Team.

Key Responsibilities: Massage Manager

• Responsible for the coordination and planning of wellness department for all Wellness staff.
• Provide oversight of Wellness staff including hiring, performance review and improvement plans
• Cultivate and maintain an innovative and current program for massage therapists.
• Support Wellness team in licensing, renewals of credentials, and all aspects of company provided training.
• Administrative requirements needed to implement Wellness objectives including; clerical, scheduling, data management, maintenance of records, communication, and information dissemination.
• Support departmental strategic planning, goal setting, priority completion, evaluation and assessment, and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Massage Therapist license required
• Hourly pay from $40-$55 and 32 hours per week role
• We prefer a college degree or college level courses in addition to a high school diploma. Industry experience in Massage and Fitness is desired.
• Wellness and Massage Industry administration and best practices, processes, and terminology
• 3 years’ work experience managing a team preferably in Wellness industry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Demonstrates a commitment to customer service, dedication to professionalism, organizational excellence, and success through teamwork.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with standard business software applications: word processing (e.g. Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (e.g. Excel), communications and scheduling (e.g. Outlook)
• Self-directed, collaborative and task motivated.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptable to managing changing business needs.
• Open to learning and adapting to change.
• CPR, AED and First Aid training and certification preferred.

STATUS: Massage Manager

• FLSA Non-exempt position.
• This is not an OSHA high-risk position.
• This is a full time position with benefits including dental, medical, vision and 401k options.
