Human Resources Generalist

**Compensation up to $70,000 **

NO THIRD PARTY RECRUITERS 

Work Schedule:

On-site required, no remote.

Work schedule: Monday thru Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm; Friday 7:00am-1:30pm

Luxfer Superform operates from Riverside, California (USA). We specialize in Super Plastic Forming of Aluminum, Titanium and Magnesium alloys as a 1st Tier supplier to major OEM’s. Established in California since 1985, Superform serves Customers in all the major markets including Aerospace.

Position Purpose:

The Human Resources Generalist will drive all HR-related functions in support of the company’s strategic objectives, while ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and regulations in addition to consistent application of the organization’s policies and procedures. This individual will actively participate in the development of company policies and goals.

Main Responsibilities:

The main activities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and administer Human Resources policies and procedures to support the company’s strategic objectives, while ensuring compliance with current federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Support payroll submission on a bi-weekly basis to include providing Luxfer’s Payroll Department with all new hire paperwork, HR Action Forms or additional payroll documentation. 
  • Accurately tracking time and attendance by ensure data is properly recorded and updated in Kronos and employee trackers, return to work and other documentation is submitted for each absence, tardy, vacation request, etc.
  • Leave of absence administration i.e., worker’s compensation, FMLA/CFRA, COVID-19 etc.
  • Execute recruitment process including job postings, applicant tracking, pre-screening candidates, supporting interviews, negotiating offers of employment, pre-employment checks, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Liaise employee benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life/LTD insurance, 401k, pension, and stock purchase plan.
  • Participate in safety committee meetings, coordinate safety training calendar and support other areas of Safety requiring HR participation.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates degree, preferred.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of HR Generalist experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing business is preferred. 
  • Experience/knowledge of the safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
