Job Description:

The Technical Support Specialist ("TSS") is crucial to the success of the overall operation. The TSS is responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to the Lux Speed solution. The duties include taking phone calls from customers or communicating with them through messaging platforms, helping customers diagnose technical issues over the phone, and speaking with them about installing hardware or software on their computers. This position will be based in Lake Mary Florida.

A Technical Support Specialist's role in a firm is crucial to its operation, and ensure that all technical aspects function optimally. Therefore, a Technical Support Specialist's duties and responsibilities may revolve around maximizing computer system capabilities and providing an exceptional customer experience by:

Ø Handling customer technical support cases through phone and email submission.

Ø Achieving computer stem objectives through collecting relevant data, identifying, and evaluating options, and suggesting a course of action

Ø Monitor the network and refer any interruptions to appropriate department

Ø Escalate any recurring cases to supervisor

Ø Maintain client confidence by keeping their information confidential

Responsibilities:

Ø Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges

Ø Actively update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of our customer

Requirements:

Ø Excellent customer service and technical knowledge

Ø Detail oriented

Ø Strong Oral Communication and Problem-Solving Skills

Qualifications:

Ø Industry-specific certification in relevant computer languages or software may be required

Ø 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services

Ø Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution

Ø Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software.

Ø Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services

Ø Extensive experience working with different operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS

Ø Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Environmental/Travel Requirements:

Ø Willing to travel occasionally

Ø Clean driving record
