Overview

Lutron has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Supervisor in our Allentown, PA manufacturing and distribution facility. In this role, you will be ensuring we are only shipping quality-tested product to customers as we configure and ship Lutron products built around the world. You will work closely with all areas of the engineering, operations, and product quality teams as we customize and ship products from the Allentown facility.

In this role, you will learn about the unique challenges that arise in product manufacturing facilities and how to navigate them. You will gain a broad exposure to Lutron products as you learn more about the product manufacturing and quality side of our business. You will grow your leadership and problem-solving skills, as you employ creative approaches in unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce the culture of quality required to meet and achieve Lutron’s world-class quality objectives
• Utilize your problem-solving skills as you lead the quality team to tackle the day-to-day deliverables
• Implement strategic improvement projects to help the factory and company achieve its product quality goals.
• Supervise and develop the quality team to grow and contribute at higher levels
• Leverage your proven communication skills as you share product quality information with stakeholders across the organization
• Collaborate with other Lutron facilities to share and implement best practices
• Work closely with product teams and other Lutron manufacturing sites to ensure a smooth transition when transferring products across facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0
• 5 years of work experience
• 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing/distribution setting
