has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) full-time. The successful candidate will provide HR direction, guidance and support our statewide service networks providing affordable housing and home care services to seniors and residential programs for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with networks/programs in defining needs and objectives in Human Resource Areas including but not limited to Learning with a focus on Training and Development, Employee Relations, General Human Resources matters and Employee Retention.
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other Human Resource related trainings including supervisory and management.
  • Develop, maintain and implement learning strategies and programs.
  • Support management in evaluating individual and organizational development needs.
  • Drive Talent Management process through succession planning and career pathing.
  • Manage, resolve Employee Relations issues as they arise. Conduct objective investigations. Provide mediation and/or facilitation services.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements relating to HR; reducing legal risks and mitigating financial impact to the network’s bottom line.
  • Provide guidance and interpret policies, procedures, practices for all HR related questions for employees.
  • Some travel throughout the State of Illinois will be required to visit the network and program sites and offices.
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years in progressive roles in HR, with at least 5 of those years in Training and Development.
  • SHRM certifications preferred.
  • Experienced with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Experience and able to design and implement effective and relevant training development programs.
  • Experience in building solid working relationships.
  • Skilled in Change Management.
  • A valid state driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent communication, organization, strong presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
