The position is expected to be equally proficient in the following areas: Therapeutic services for children and families.Assessments and evaluations for children with sexual acting out behaviors.Liaison services for clients across a wide array of systems.Advocate services for clients and their families.Agency representation.Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members and facilitate development of a positive staff support network.Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations he or she servesQualifications: The following qualifications are expected from each employee working in Child Welfare:General RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field2 years experience working with children and families State Licensure, Affiliation or Association for Professional Field Successful Completion of Local, State and Federal Background ChecksReliable Transportation, Valid Driver’s License, Vehicle Registration and Insurance The Perks: We offer a full benefits package with options for medical and dental insurance.
