THE JOB:

As a Fireplace Service Technician, you will be repairing, maintaining and placing into service various types of fireplaces, including gas, wood, and electric models. You will diagnose technical issues, perform routine maintenance, final set up services and ensure that fireplaces are operating safely and efficiently. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.

Some work performed will be in the final stages of new construction, working with a variety of great builders in the NW Arkansas area. Some work will be in existing homes performing routine cleaning and diagnosing customer concerns, replacing faulty components such as gas valves, pilot assemblies, igniters, control modules, etc. Everything needed to perform the job is provided by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2 years of relevant fireplace, HVAC, appliance or other service trade experience is required.

• Hearth industry experience is a plus!
• Be mechanically inclined and able to read and understand installation manuals
• Proficient with hand tools, tape measures, reading and basic math skills
• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects with assistance
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Understanding of gas and electrical connections is required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
