Luna is a small business in Spokane, WA. We are innovative, engaging and offer a professional culinary environment.

We're looking for a Pastry Cook who can design and create visual, delicious and appealing food presentations. Candidates should be able to think quickly in an intense environment, and have experience with everyday baking duties including butchering meat and poultry, mixing batters and handling dough. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work well as part of a team and can follow recipes as well as improvise when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Bake cookies and bread
• Create experimental desserts.
• Clean equipment and bakeware.
• Scale recipes to fit the amounts of ingredients available.
• Work with other bakers to accomplish tasks.
• Get ingredients from storeroom and keep them in appropriate storage area to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Taste cookies, cakes, and other items before they are sold to make sure they taste good.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
