About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with expertise in Growth and Mobile Shopping to join our Shopper Growth team. As a pivotal team member, you'll actively shape the evolution of our Creator Guided Shopping App. Your role involves advocating for the customer, crafting user-centric experiences, and leading design decisions to acquire and engage new users. Collaborating closely with business leaders and stakeholders, you'll ensure seamless implementations from concept to launch.

You'll apply advanced design principles, adhering to native design patterns like Apple HIG and Android Guidelines. Within our Product Design & Creative team, you'll play a vital role in evolving our design system, fostering visual coherence, and boosting engineering efficiency across all user touch points.

How you will make an impact

• Solve Comprehensive Design Problems: Address design challenges comprehensively, starting with research insights. Translating these insights into innovative new products and features, and creating sketches and prototypes for rapid market viability assessment. Design detailed interaction behaviors that enhance user experiences.
• Apply Visual Design Expertise: Leverage your advanced understanding of design fundamentals, usability, accessibility, and localization principles to craft well-organized, user-centric experiences. Make informed design choices, including the use of native design patterns per Apple HIG and Android Guidelines, while paying close attention to interaction details for comprehensive and polished user experiences.
• Lead Design System Evolution: Collaborate as a cross-functional design leader within the Product Design & Creative team. Work with other designers to refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints.
• Prototype Scalable Solutions: Design and prototype elegant, scalable solutions that meet user needs and contribute to our global business growth.
• Maintain Brand Consistency: Craft experiences that reinforce our brand's style and voice while adhering to brand guidelines, maintaining brand consistency in all design work.
• User-Centric Research: Plan and conduct usability tests and qualitative user interviews to gain insights into user needs, ensuring user-centered design decisions.
• Data-Driven Design Approach: Embrace data, quantitative user research, and A/B testing to inform design choices, promoting a data-driven approach to design.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain detailed user-interface documentation. Collaborate closely with engineers to guide your design from concept to deployment.
• Customer Experience Advocacy: Advocate for the customer and their experience when making design decisions that impact both users and the business.
• Effective Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Communicating design decisions that have a significant impact on the business.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Share your expertise and passion for Product Design by mentoring and fostering the growth of fellow members of the design team.

What you will bring to LTK

• 5 years of experience in designing digital products, with a preference for experience in applications for iOS and Android, as well as responsive web applications.
• A degree in a relevant field of study (or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree) is desirable.
• An Impressive portfolio showcasing expertise in product design, including comprehensive documentation of the creative process and final design solutions.
• Proficiency in contemporary design tools, such as Figma.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes. Using HTML and/or prototyping software is a valuable asset.
• Experience conducting user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
• Background in designing with a user-centric approach.
• Familiarity with design systems and patterns, while also considering technological feasibility.
• Embraces the design thinking process to address challenges and find solutions. 
• A solid foundation in design principles, delivering designs and documents that are characterized by simplicity, informativeness, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities effectively, delivering in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environment.
• Able to engage in constructive discussions and provide and receive feedback with respect and professionalism.

Skilled in estimating work, meeting deadlines, and vocalizing concerns when risks emerge.

• A collaborative team player who enjoys working across functions with a diverse group of designers, all of whom share a genuine passion for design and mutual support.
