LSI Staffing Pasadena has an immediate need for a SHIPPING CLERK in Pasadena TX!! Pay rate is $17 to $19 DOE! 

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the Warehouse Manager, provide support in all functions as they relate to the operation of the Domestic Shipping department, this position requires interacting with multiple departments including, but not limited, to, Packaging, Export, QA/QC, logistics and Operations. This position also requires supporting Facility Management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• General clerical duties including answering phones, answering emails, and maintaining files.
• Facilitate communication of port procedures to incoming delivery personnel (drivers); assist with directions to port; confirm orders with customers; and address other customer service questions.
• Assist in identification of shipping orders as good or deficient; notify production accordingly.
• Assist in daily delivery order generation.
• Assist in scheduling inbounds.
• Assist in communication of assignment loads to Warehouse Leads.
• Assist in good issuing and shipment completion on all loaded orders.
• Management of SAP reports for analysis and department operation: VT11; VL06O; VL10G; Position Report; and customer tracking reports.
• Analyze revisions of sales orders and reports; address any questions and concerns from corporate office.
• Facilitate appropriate check-in procedures for delivery trucks and drivers: assign sales order, trailer number retrieval; license plate documentation; process documentation for review after product loading.
• Monitor flow and activity of bay doors and Warehouse Operators.
• Set up logistics between the company and freight forwarder for international orders and container shipments.
• Manage inventory of empty and loaded trailers on yard.
• Assist in daily data input of shipping orders into Excel.
• Assist in communicating instructions to yard mule operator when assigning empty trailers to bay doors.
• Cross train and support other clerical roles throughout the facility and within the department.
• Any other tasks as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
• Must be assertive, self-motivated and dependable.
• Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.
