Our client has tasked us with sourcing a Senior Network Engineer (REMOTE) to join their team growing team.

A day in the life
You will oversee and manage your network environment.
You will design, build, and operate the network that enables rapid scaling and growth.
You will understand and manage incident management while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exemplary customer service.
You will prioritize work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
You will ensure processes meet business requirements and system goals.
You will provide architectural and engineering leadership, define, and implement strategies to ensure scalability, availability, security, and functionality.
You will build capabilities for monitoring, alerting, automation, and self-healing networks
You will create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
You will own the documentation and topology maps for all network components
You will provide network architecture, capacity planning, design, and implementation
What you will need to move you to the front of the line
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
8 years’ experience in network engineering, architecture. and operations.
CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE or equivalent preferred
Strong Routing/Switching configuration experience
Familiarity with deploying and managing networks in a SaaS/Cloud environment
Health Care IT experience is a plus.
Hand-on experience in network architecture, engineering, monitoring, circuit provisioning, vendor management and troubleshooting network issues.
Experience in network design including LAN, WAN, VPN, load balanced, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc. for large scale, highly available and mission critical application systems.
Highly skilled and experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), VPN (AnyConnect, IPSEC and EZVPN) and NAC configurations.
Experience in private cloud and public cloud is desirable – including but not limited to AWS, Azure, GCP.
Experience with F5’s, Palo Altos, Cisco VPN appliances/equipment.
Network Security and Firewall Technologies - CISSP a plus.
Good writing and documentation skills to provide documentation for teams.
Strong skills and desire to work in a process-oriented environment.
