Overview
Lowes Foods is growing! We are seeking a Construction Manager who is responsible for leading construction projects at Lowes Foods and Kj’s Markets (Alex Lee Retail). With a primary focus in our South Carolina and Georgia markets, this individual will manage all construction related activities for new stores and remodels including project planning, budgeting, design, construction management, and contractor administration. This individual will work closely with the Real Estate and Operations teams to prioritize the development of projects with the best returns.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field with 5 years of retail construction/project management experience. Solid knowledge of building codes. Proficient with Microsoft office, Excel and Project Management tools. Ability to work in a team environment and adaptable in a fast change environment. High energy level and strong drive for success.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation teams, utility companies, government agencies, architectural & design firms, and general contracting firms.
- Deep expertise in the planning, scheduling, budgeting, analysis, resourcing, and implementing of all construction activities required to maintain and improve a large real estate portfolio. This includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire-alarm, lighting, furniture, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, including experience working with all levels of an organization and ability to handle issues involving employees in a professional and positive manner.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to meet deadlines as the need arises to meet project schedule.
- Ability to travel > 50% with overnights a requirement.
