Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
-Knows and understands the safety procedures and practices.
-Verifies quantity and quality of order before packaging and shipping.
-Must be attentive to detail.
-Be able to record information for each customer shipped out including weight, tracking information and special notation.
-Depending on the contents, shipping method and size, will determine the best packaging options.
-May be required to build a custom built crate, or pick one up at another location.
-Be able to secure the package contents to prevent damage and breakage.
-clearly affix shipping labels on packaging as well as any special handling instructions in an orderly fashion.
-Be able to read and understand job traveler and verify graphics per customer order.
-Be able to learn how to operate the FedEx and UPS shipping systems.
-Be able to operate the band saw, banding equipment and floor jacks.
-Knows proper lifting techniques and gets help with heavy weights and avoids awkward body positions.
-Must be able to work in the stocking program side of shipping.
-Must be able to put part numbers on the shelf and release part numbers from the shelf.
-Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
-Keep all work areas clear of clutter and equipment.
-Might be asked to take part in year-end and general inventory procedures.
-Report any defective graphic or shortage to Shipping Supervisor.
Competencies
-Must be able to access information on a computer.
-Willingness to be trained on the operation of an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
-Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-Must have the ability to interpret data sheets.
-Must be organized and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
-Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be able to follow directions and switch jobs if necessary before completed.
-Must be able to multi-task.
-Takes initiative and show leadership.
-Must be able to use a hammer safely.
Work Environment
-Atmosphere heated and cooled to production temperature.
-Cement floor with anti-fatigue mats provided for comfort.
-Clean working environment.
-Might work around moving mechanical parts.

-Occasional reaching, reach across midline, fingering, feeling, squatting, stooping.
-Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 65 lbs.
-Frequent walking, change of position, handling.
