Overview

Low T Center/HerKare, leading providers of hormone replacement and targeted wellness services, are seeking fitness-conscious, wellness-oriented Physicians in connection with a planned expansion of clinical offerings and rapid escalation of remotely managed care options. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, customer service focused environment, employing proprietary treatment protocols and programs to help change patients' lives. 

Medical directors work in conjunction with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to coordinate the care of patients receiving hormone replacement, targeted wellness (such as management of sleep apnea, weight control, hypertension, low libido), and aesthetic services (some locations).

Candidates must have excellent medical and academic credentials, be technologically savvy, and able to effectively manage staff and operations at their location.

Clinical Competencies:

  • Provide medical supervision/oversight of the full time Center Director (PA or NP) to ensure that they are operating with confidence and competence in the provision of patient care and following the guidelines defined in our medical and operating protocols.
  • Train in both our medical and operating protocols to provide proper oversight.

Other Requirements:

• Experience in a related field, such as urology, endocrinology, gynecology, or general practice is preferred.

• No current or pending malpractice lawsuits

• Active state license in good standing

• Active DEA Certificate preferred

• Ability to delegate prescriptive authority and supervision

• Active Controlled Substance Registration, if applicable in your state.

Responsibilities

  • Review and sign off on a percentage of patient charts completed by the Center Director (consistent with state medical board requirements)
  • Periodically provide coverage for the Center Director as needed and engage in patient care 
  • Assume the role as Laboratory Director for our on-site CLIA licensed laboratory and assume the duties of a moderate complexity CLIA licensed laboratory.
