Louisville Tile is seeking an I.T. Manager - Business Systems for our I.T. Department. The IT Manager - Business Systems is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of all corporate software technology systems. This position ensures that the department provides efficient and effective oversight and technical support service as it relates to system administration, data integrity, security and reliability. Working with department owners and IT staff, develops specifications and coordinates quoting, approval and oversight for changes to business systems. Ensures the business systems are kept up to date with updates / enhancements issued by the various system vendors. This position coordinates work with IT Manager - Infrastructure and Security to ensure infrastructure and security requirements are aligned. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

Management Responsibilities

The position has supervisory responsibilities and authority. The following are the responsibilities and governs your activities over direct reports:

  •  Model and mentor, the culture of Louisville Tile. 
  •  Communication cadence to deliver updates on Corporate and IT initiatives and performance to plan. Engage team in actions to support the mission, goals, and vision of department success. Solicit feedback from team to foster growth and success as a team and individually. 
  •  Team development through employee training, coaching, regular evaluations and holding team accountable for actions including discipline or performance improvement plans. 
  •  Budget oversight in areas owned, including overtime, staffing, and scheduling analysis and approval, time and attendance monitoring and time off request approval for direct reports. 

Management Authority

  •  Schedules, organizes, and assigns projects to members of the Information Technology Department
  •  Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  •  Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policies.
  •  Agrees to contractual terms withing pre-determined budget and levels.

  •  Works flexible schedule to meet the needs of the customer or business, as IT projects and issues are performed or occur during off hours, with travel for branch support, business related meetings, events, and opportunities 
  •  Is proficient in Microsoft Office, and other technological programs required to execute the position 
  •  Business Subject Matter Expert for IT initiatives, activities, and ERP software.
  •  Maintains expertise in emerging and new technology and solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  •  Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support to users. Implements enhancements and workflows based on the need of the company and best practices which includes development of test plans and integrating into daily business processes and implementation strategy. 
  •  Monitor and maintain the health of the platform, including system performance, scheduled automations, and integrations. Ensures the company software and patches are up to date and properly licensed and secure. 
  •  Be a primary point of contact for our ERP and provide hands-on support for users. Coordinates, helps processes IT service requests through the company ticketing system. Ensures 24-hour support is provided for system issues or outages and resolves high level issues as needed
  •  Design and develop KPIs, dashboards, reports, and data inquiries as requested for data analysis
  •  Document business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and processes to capture current set up and flow. 
  •  Implement strong internal controls for A/P, A/R, purchasing, inventory, etc.
  •  Review upgrades to evaluate impact on processes, configurations, and customizations
  •  Administer System Security through a user/role model.
  •  Oversees B2B and B2C portal, setup, and data exchange. Ensures maintenance of systems. 
  •  Develops plans and determines the scope of various ERP projects.
  •  Manages relationships with ERP, CRM software providers and third-party vendors. Monitor vendor specifications and agreements for compliance and collaborates for brain-storming/problem solving.
  •  Reviews existing software licenses for cost containment and relevance. This includes all software at all levels of the organization. 
  •  Assists with special projects as assigned or needed by Executive Management Team. Research new and existing processes and applications and gives feedback to management 

Qualifications

  •  Strong Microsoft Excel experience
  •  Strong Microsoft SQL experience
  •  Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of the ERP (view logs, understand error messages and manage other system configurations/settings.)
  •  Ability to demonstrate the creation of processes and workflows within the ERP
  •  Ability to configure ERP import and export scenarios and 3rd party integrations.
  •  Ability to customize screens with necessary data fields
  •  Can build generic inquiries to view and extract data from various ERP sources
  •  Can work on multiple projects simultaneously
  •  Comfortable working with various departments such as finance, logistics, procurement, order processing, returns, and operations to address their needs and develop requirements.
  •  Can work under pressure. Most ERP issues that may arise will be a high priority.
