About the Job:

Shipping and Receiving Specialist’s within Louisville Geek are part of the foundation of the company. We are, in a lot of ways, step one on equipment’s way to our clients.

Shipping & Receiving Specialist roles ensure that Louisville Geek continues to operate smoothly within a warehouse and logistics position. Equipment will arrive daily and need to be sorted and placed in the appropriate departments. Shipments will also leave daily on their way to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Update, monitor and receive all logistics drop-offs.
• Generate shipping labels with multiple logistics companies for out-bound transit.
• Monitor equipment on order and update real time for both internal requests as well as clients.
• Perform weekly inventory audits.
• Lift and move packages that weight between 1 and 50 pounds by yourself.
• Break down and move cardboard boxes.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge and experience with Windows 10.
• Basic reading and writing ability.
• Ability to dress professionally and welcome clients picking up or dropping off equipment.
• Ability to articulate speech well.
• Maintain and update service tickets, knowledge bases and time sheets.
• Comply with all organization business policies, workflow processes and documentation practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge of both LTL Freight and Ground Carrier a plus!
• Ceaseless desire to deliver unsurpassed customer service
• Stable employment history is preferred.
