The Role

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you'll play a critical role supporting our talent acquisition efforts for Lord Abbett. It is about building a candidate-friendly journey from start to finish and using the opportunity to connect candidates to the "wow" of working at Lord Abbett. We'll trust you to create an extraordinary and memorable experience for each of our candidates. The Recruiting Coordinator ensures a positive interview process by handling all the details, so our candidates can focus on the Lord Abbett experience, not on where their next meeting is. You will be a key part of the team responsible for identifying top talent, telling the Lord Abbett story, and ultimately turning great candidates into excellent employees.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Coordinate a high volume of interviewing scheduling tasks, including organizing interviews, communicating interview details, and hosting interview visits
  • Handle all candidate travel and expense reimbursement
  • Provide a seamless candidate experience through the entire recruiting lifecycle
  • Be proactive and always looking to streamline and improve our candidate journey and interview processes
  • Support our Recruiters, Hiring Leaders, and Candidates to the very best of your ability each day
  • Embody the Lord Abbett culture by being a brand ambassador and providing a consistent, high touch experience, in every candidate interaction
  • Maintain data governance throughout the recruitment life cycle and produce ad-hoc reports as required
  • Actively participate and contribute ideas to process efficiency, improvement, and recruitment strategies
  • Effectively run simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize tasks

You'll need to have:

  • 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in an administrative role
  • Interview scheduling experience in a high-volume recruitment environment is strongly preferred
  • Ability to be in our Jersey City Headquarters approximately 3-4 days a week
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound judgement and prioritizing skills
  • Initiative to follow through on tasks and problem solve
  • Interest in working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting data
  • High degree of professional maturity, relentlessly positive attitude, and the ability to have fun at work
  • Adaptability to multitask, shift focus and prioritize assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Resourcefulness, and the self-motivation to learn our craft and business
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional software as needed such as iCIMS and UKG
  • Passion for customer service, and true empathy for our candidates
  • Ability to serve as a brand ambassador for the firm and the Talent Acquisition team
