Longwood Central School District is Hiring a Remote Vice President of Industry Sales - Manufacturing (Remote)

Our Vice President of Industry Sales - Manufacturing is responsible for the overall growth in revenue and profit of our largest Manufacturing/Supply Chain industry accounts, both in the US and outside of the US, if applicable.

You will be responsible for ensuring our strategy is aligned to our customers key objectives and that we have short- and long-term plans to achieve our company’s business objectives. You also will be accountable for building C-level executive sponsorship opportunities by participating in key client review meetings where strategy is being discussed and the alignment for Ricoh success is being defined.

This position drives thought leadership, shares best practices, and works with marketing as voice of customer, they also ensure that their teams stay relevant and align to industry trends, challenges, and opportunities in order for Ricoh to continue on a path for long term success. This is the opportunity to lead Ricoh’s top accounts with an average revenue per account of $15 million and requires significant engagement at the account level.

  • Accountable for hiring, leading, and developing Strategic Account Directors, Industry Services Specialists, and Industry Directors to execute on detailed business plans to help clients solve their annual and long-term business objectives.
  • Responsible for profitable growth for assigned accounts, including contract retention and expansion aligned to accomplishing client priorities.
  • Engage key subject matter experts, and partners to implement Ricoh’s portfolio and or develop customized solutions working with the Digital Services Center.
  • Create, execute, and inspect process for setting proper account strategies to achieve the desired client business plan objectives both short and long-term.
  • Hold Account Directors and specialists accountable to drive sales activities, achieve specific KPIs, and close new business within the client base, resulting in deeper penetration into the accounts.
  • Ensure key industry training and trending is shared with team to ensure relevance with our customer base.
  • Share best practices and ensure Ricoh completes case studies and references required for long-term growth.
  • Set clear expectations by creating rigor and routine and inspecting activity that supports the sales objectives.
  • Collaborates with internal resources to align activities, support, and plan development.
  • Industry specific networking and recruiting.
  • Comfortably engages with peers and leaders and effectively manage escalations.
  • Comfortably negotiates issues with customers and internal organizations fairly.
  • Sustainably coaches for performance and consistently provides immediate and effective feedback.
  • Coach team through the defined selling methodology ensuring they grasp the fundamentals and hones their abilities to meet high standards.
  • Assesses talent and identifies strengths and development opportunities. Create development plans with team to continually challenge them to raise the bar.
  • Responsible for profitable revenue growth and expense management.
  • Engages proactively to achieve company financial targets.
