Long Term Care Specialists' continue growth has led to an opportunity for a top-tier Client Support Specialist to join our team. Serving as the primary point of contact for our facility partners, this position will continue to deliver excellent service and results that help set LTCS apart. Office Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00-4:00. Exceptional customer service, punctuality and a sense of ownership of work tasks are crucial to your success at LTCS.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Supports the office operations team while building and maintaining relationships with Patients and Facilities in multiple areas.
- Receive, analyze and process incoming prescription requests, DME requisitions, and related needs.
- Responsible for new patient onboarding in LTCS’ HIM systems.
- Works with facilities to obtain demographic information on new and existing patients.
- Obtains insurance authorizations on patients as necessary.
- Provides cross-coverage and administrative support to other LTCS team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior Medical Office experience preferred.
- Experience in the Nursing Home and/or Assisted Living settings preferred.
Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation):
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, performing repetitive tasks/motions.
- Occasional requirement for exerting up to ten pounds of force.
- Some bending and stretching is required.
- Must have good manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Must have good speaking voice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of medical office processes and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical insurance.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Good organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and able to meet established deadlines.
