Long Island Reach is Hiring a School Social Worker Near Port Washington, NY
Port Washington Clinic School Mental Health
Port Counseling Center, a Division of Long Island Reach is expanding and enhancing the provision of behavioral health services to adolescents and families by providing on-site counseling to East Williston High School and Middle School students. Long Island Reach is seeking full time Social Workers or Mental Health counselors, to provide in school individual counseling and outreach three days a week in middle and high school and two days a week in the Port Washington Treatment Clinic. Counseling includes individual, group, and family psychotherapy for diverse client population and coordination of care with the East Williston School District and Long Island Reach. Competitive salary, benefits, and excellent clinical supervision. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday 9am to 9pm and Friday 9am-5pm. Selected candidates will be required to work two evenings.

The program is committed to working with a diverse population of troubled individuals and their families; to engage and help them learn better ways to cope with their pain; enhance self-esteem and develop self-awareness.
