Job Summary:
The Part-Time Human Resources Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This role involves processing confidential documents, assisting with new hire paperwork, background checks, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
A. Customer Service:
1. Assist with answering and directing phone calls.
2. Address public inquiries (both walk-ins and phone calls), resolving issues where possible.
B. Human Resources Support:
1. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department:
2. Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager:
3. Help plan and execute HR-related events such as benefits enrollment and organization-wide meetings.
4. Attend relevant District meetings and in-house training sessions, track training activities, and maintain records.
