Logistics Management Institute is Hiring a Requirements Analyst Near Washington, DC

LMI is supporting a component of the Department of Homeland Security through data collection, management, and analysis; toll development and enhancement; management and business process modeling; budget and workforce formulation and justifications; strategic planning; and risk and performance management.

In support of this project, we are seeking an Requirements Analyst with experience providing expert advice/guidance regarding advanced management concepts, the acquisition process, program and project management, systems engineering, information technology and business process development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist advanced management concepts, the acquisition process, program and project management, systems engineering, information technology and business process development.
  • Support acquisition cycle program management, Technology Readiness Level (TRL) thresholds, requirements identification, development, and management of R&D activities with strong understanding of budgeting and management necessities required for successful transition to Operations and Support (O&S)
  • Gather information from various sources and assembling the information into a comprehensive work product for leadership’s final determination
  • Integrate mission requirements to acquisition management actions across the Planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process as well as current year operational and financial execution

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business or Computer Science
  • At least seven (7) years' worth of experience in support of acquisition life cycle management.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation
  • Experience providing requirements documentation and development, to include experience in writing Capability Analysis Study Plans (CASP), Capability Analysis Reports (CAR), Non-Materiel Change Recommendations (NMCR), Mission Needs Statements (MNS), Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and Operational Requirements Documents (ORD).
  • Experience with facets of acquisition management actions across the planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Master’s degree or higher.
  • Previous DHS experience.
